This is "Who's There"—a response to Illustration Friday's challenge to interpret the word CAUTION. I first used the traditional black and yellow colors which are universally recognized as the symbol of caution but then I decided that to lighten them to gray and pale yellow would indicate qualities of timidity and sneakiness that I wanted. Hmmm.

Wrapped in Dark Carolina Blue
It's been so long since I've accepted the Illustration Friday challenge (five months!) and I discovered I missed doing it. So here's my attempt at illustrating this week's word— "WRAPPED." I chose hue 140, also known as Microsoft Paint's "Dark Carolina Blue" and I used different shades and tints of it to wrap a black box. Make of that whatever you will. One thing you can make of it is that I love abstractions.

The Dance
Illustration Friday's challenge this week is "Intricate." As I began drawing an intricate curve I'd recently come across, the idea of the dance came to me.
