This week's topic at Illo Friday is "FRESH." All I could think of was vegetables and they were too hard to draw. So I was about to give up when this image popped into my head and it seemed kind of ''fresh'' to me. Voila.

Door into the Dark

I love Seamus Heaney's line, "All I see is a door into the dark," with its suggestion of coming from the Light. When I began my Illustration Friday drawing of this week's assignment, "Depth," his words came to my mind. Thus, the title.
