Blue

Not Quite Blue
This is part of a series on "body parts." It isn't blue yet. I'm not sure how I'm going to do that. But it's almost blue.

Fresh

This week's topic at Illo Friday is "FRESH." All I could think of was vegetables and they were too hard to draw. So I was about to give up when this image popped into my head and it seemed kind of ''fresh'' to me. Voila.

Depth

Door into the Dark

Reflection

This week's assignment from Illustration Friday is "Reflection." I had an illustration that I made some time ago which, I think, fits the theme. I painted it to express these lines by Wallace Stevens. (If you want to read his whole poem, go here--Stevens)

Say that the palms are clear in the total blue.
Are clear and are obscure; that it is night;
That the moon shines.
